Even though you have been living so far away from us here in Tuebingen you were always part of our everyday-life. We quote your words more often, than you might have thought- wether it's “Waky, waky, tea or caky!“ (Monica's favourite) or “Suck a gravelstone and swallow the spit!“ (Thomas favourite!) . And Thomas will never in his life forget the happy hours he spent with you watching australian footy and “Deal or no deal“. And my boys never forget to proudly tell their friends that they know a real cowboy, one who can ride a real horse, shoot a real gun and crack a stock-whip!
We are so grateful that we knew you and we will never forget you.

Fons memories of a top bloke. Ken always had time to talk to anyone, even when that someone was just a snotty nosed kid (like I had been on many occasions). His smile & that little bit of an impish grin were always a pleasure to see. Another link in the country trotting chain gone, but not forgotten. Deepest sympathy to Ken's family. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend on Friday.
