Deepest sympathy to Larraine and Family on the sad passing of John.
A privilege to have met and known someone who was devoted to helping those within the community.
At peace after a fight with illness, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (Rob's own demon).
Larraine, we are here for you. Our love and thoughts are with you all.
Rob, Kay & Family.

John was a courageous, caring gentleman, who held the utmost respect by all who were fortunate to share a path in his life. To John’s soul mate, Larraine, our heartfelt sympathy. We will dearly miss his inspiration for life, occasional guidance but mainly ‘Watto’ the man himself. RIP

Deepest condolences to Lorraine and family. John was an amazing man. His dedication and support for the Carlisle Football Club will never be forgotten. He made my time there as a trainer one of the most memorable . RIP John .

Always remembered for his assistance in retrieving body of family member of mine from disused mine shaft at Agnew (near Leonora) in early 1970’s. Neither of us wanted to give up and our persistence paid off. A great guy and a great cop. Sympathy to his loved ones

Deepest sympathy to Lorraine and all the family.
We will always remember the picnics at Dingo Rock where Watto and Parkey made everybody believe they could sing...!!!
A man of substance and one of this countries BEST..
RIP..!! Ned & Helena Dixon

You have left your mark on so many people in Western Australia. It is truly a loss for us to know the "straight shooter has left the building". Sincere condolences to your family. You will be missed. So respected and loved, those that have known you even briefly, have been touched by the amazing man you were.

My deepest sympathy to my little Laurie, Troy, Shannon and all of your family for this sad news of John's passing. Such a shock to hear we have all lost one of the most loving, generous & greatly admired gentlemen I have ever had the priviledge to call my friend. John's integrity & strength of character I will always admire. I am so grateful for John's support, witty humour (oh yes, that was priceless) & caring protection to our little team Laurie, & all our staff, back in our Belmont days. The wonderful times we had at the footy club & events we all celebrated together I will always treasure. My thoughts & prayers are with you all at this time. Love Fiona. Vale John Watson ~ to know him is to love him.
