Sending Love and hugs to you all Lisa, Angela, Bronwyn, Doc and family, I remember Wendy from our Hockey and Soccer days, she did so much for the clubs and an overall lovely, strong lady. Rest in Peace Wendy xx

It is futile to fight against, if one does not know what one is fighting for.
Ayn Rand

Our experience of Wendy was of a wise and frank woman whose speech and comments showed us in Capel that employing knowledge, wisdom and respect for the good of the community empowers others to attempt the same. We will miss her presence. Sincerest condolences to the family she loved. Brian and Judy Hearne

The tide of life ebbs and flows,
But the gates of wonderful memories never close.
Rest in peace Wendy.

Come with me Nanny, come on, with me!
To the colourful room, there’s something to see!
Look out the window, at the trees and the sky.
Can you see the birdies? Look at them fly!

Come with me Nanny, come on, hurry up!
The chooks are hungry, they’ve started to cluck!
Shall we take down the scraps, collect the eggs perhaps?
I really, really don’t want to have e naps....

Come with me Nanny, let’s dance and sing.
We can run and jump and play and swing.
You grab the stick and I’ll grab the ball!
Let’s play and play until we fall!

Come with me Nanny, it’s time for a hug.
I’ve got you! Let’s lay down nice and snug.
I love you my nanny, my doting one....
I miss you truly, we had so much fun...

Here she sits, determined and calm.
The time is near, there’s no alarm.
So strong she fought to win the fight.
Willing and committed, but with no delight.
A true earth mother who loves her kids.
Intelligent and beautiful as she forgives.
So much wisdom, I can recall.
Her words would echo from down the hall.
She fought for us, her family and friends.
I carry her dearly in my heart as it mends.
I love you mum, stay strong and brave.
Our joyful memories are the ones I will save.
